OV naturals is a small, ethical business, founded in 2006, owned & run by Lucy Stevens MFHT (pictured) in Hambridge, near Langport, Somerset UK.

With a calm, eco-friendly & sustainable therapy space created for you, Lucy offers acclaimed massage-based facials, by appointment. These are tailored both to your skin & how you would like to feel, which has been the ethos since the very beginning. A fully qualified & experienced aromatherapist, Lucy  has trained & studied extensively in massage techniques, natural and organic ingredients, product formulation & skincare. All facials are cruelty-free, plant-based & can be completely vegan simply by swapping out our face cream (which contains beeswax) for another brand.

OV naturals small-batch skincare products are made by Lucy in her Somerset workshop. These are used to customise your facials & home skincare routine. You can buy online & in various independent stockists. OV naturals' hero product, Vital 'Triple Rose' facial oil, has been a bestseller since 2011 & has been featured in blogs, the press & media and even in the Anti Ageing Beauty Bible as one of Sarah Stacey's all-time favourites.

Lucy is passionate about nature & sustainability and this is reflected in the business. Read the blog about our sustainable studio to discover more.

What's in a name

Why OV naturals? Living & working in the beautiful English West Country, near Langport / Ilminster, both ancient & new orchards are built into the landscape. Apples are harvested, cider is made & wassails are commonplace. Our first house in Shepton Beauchamp, where the business was born, was called 'Orchard View' - hence Orchard View naturals, or OV. We are now just up the road.

Lucy's journey

From my beginnings as a massage therapist & aromatherapist, I became fascinated with essential oils, the olfactory system, the skin and the mind-body connection. It was so rewarding to witness how massage with an essential oil blend could make such a difference & how customers would return on a regular basis to get their 'feel-good' fix.

Over the years I began observing in my clients the profound cumulative effects not just of body massage, but of facial massage both on physical appearance & overall wellbeing. Coupled with the beautifying & therapeutic properties of essential oils & plant extracts, this was a winning combination for a natural, holistic approach to beauty. Since the beginning of 2020, I now specialise exclusively in natural facial treatments.

Since the early days I have been asked by clients in my therapy clinics to create essential oils blends & other products for them to use at home. I launched my first range of natural, plant-based skincare products in 2010 & have been making skincare products ever since. You'll find today's line-up in the online shop. They are also stocked with independent shops and used by therapists for massage, facials & sports massage.

Rest assured, you’re in good hands.

Before Aromatherapy

Art is one of my loves. After a Foundation Diploma, I went on to study Creative & Community Arts (BA) & then a Masters Degree in Arts Administration & Marketing. After working in art galleries for many years I discovered aromatherapy & was hooked. My creativity is now channeled into my therapy practice & skincare products. I still paint & draw, too.
